Great Ming: My Brother Is the Yongle Emperor

"No, I told you to accompany Eunuch Sanbao on his voyage to the Western Ocean. What is all this you've brought back?" The Yongle Emperor looked at the mountain of wooden barrels and the three enormous rats, each as big as a calf, and nearly lost his mind. And hadn't someone just reported that there were three hundred ironclad ships, too?!

"Imperial Brother! Imperial Brother! I finally get to see you again!" Zhu Di was furious, but the boy before him, who wasn't even fifteen, came running over in tears and threw his arms around him, wailing, "Imperial Brother, I'll give you money! Please stop sending me out to sea!"

Zhu Di's gloomy expression instantly froze. As the boy kept wiping his snot and tears all over his bright yellow dragon robe, Zhu Di wanted nothing more than to pick up a boulder-sized fist and punch him to death.

You little rascal!

"Imperial Brother, name your price. Just don't make me go to sea."

"One million taels of silver!" Zhu Di snarled through gritted teeth, his tiger-like eyes ready to bore a hole straight through this unlucky kid.

"Deal! And I'll give you another five million taels to lease Houhai for a hundred years. How about that?"
