Urban Elves: From the Start, I Get a Shiny Froakie with Protean

Maple wakes up early one morning to find that the whole world has changed. A Delibird has come to deliver an acceptance letter from Starry Sky Academy.

Is this the Pokemon world?

Machoke and Machamp work on construction sites, Psychic-type Pokemon assist with research, and Arcanine serve as police dogs.

As a star student at Starry Sky Academy, Maple gets to choose a Pokemon for free.

Just then, the System chimes...

Ding! A Legendary-quality Pokémon Egg containing a Froakie has been detected.

Maple decisively picks up an egg and leaves at once.

Staff member: "What a waste of such amazing talent! And how could you waste such a rare Pokemon?"

The school's Pokemon breeder: "All that talent wasted, and he picked a Froakie!"

A week later.

A little cutie hatches.
