Siheyuan: The Last Maoshan Taoist of the Old Era

Su Chen transmigrates into the world of the courtyard and is adopted by a kind Maoshan priest, then moves into the courtyard with him.

Times change.

When Taoist priests come to be lumped together with the despised intellectuals, the reputation of Su Chen and his master changes too.

Kindness and cruelty, warmth and coldness, are all part of human nature.

One night, Bang Geng suddenly comes down with a strange illness. His face turns purple, his lips turn blue, foam spills from his mouth, and his whole body convulses.

Qin Huairu runs to Su Chen's home and kneels at the door, begging for help.

"Su Chen, please, you have to help! The child is dying!"

Su Chen takes a look. "Saving him is easy, but it requires a man's primordial yang. That is far too precious."

After hearing Qin Huairu's report, Su Chen suddenly realizes that perhaps he can make a better life for himself in this world.
