Interstellar Tower Defense: What the Hell Is This Tower?

Countless portals descend from the sky, and Blue Star is under a massive invasion by an unknown civilization!

Commander: "We weren't prepared for this wave of monsters. We let our guard down. Prepare to retreat!"

Cheng Chi: "Don't rush off. I'll throw down a defensive NPC."

A flash of white light, and a trainee wearing a white shirt and suspenders appears before them.

Commander: "What are you doing joking around at a time like this? Move!"

Cheng Chi: "Don't panic."

With that, he tosses the trainee a basketball.

The trainee shoots. The ball follows a beautiful arc, and a vast army of aliens is instantly ground to dust by the shock wave!

The whole world is stunned. You call that a defense tower? That's a little too ridiculous, isn't it?
