Great Ming: Teaching Zhu Yuanzhang How to Be an Emperor

When their second son Zhu Shuang is enfeoffed in Guanzhong, Zhu Yuanzhang and his wife go to visit him, only to discover a world unlike anything they know.

Beyond the pass, years of war have left the land strewn with corpses and famine everywhere. Here, the land is rich and the people live in peace and prosperity.

Beyond the pass, people live in earthen huts. Here, high-rises and upscale housing developments are everywhere.

Beyond the pass, the people barely have enough to eat. Here, they can feast on barbecue, sip drinks, and party at night markets and bars.

The people: As long as we live well, who gives a damn about the emperor!

Old Zhu: Rebellion! Rebellion! You've all turned traitor! You unfilial son, are you trying to set up your own fiefdom?

Zhu Shuang: Father, come on, let me teach you how to be an emperor!
