Shanhai Wanderer: Starting with Fox Chief Stealing My Snow Wolf

Reborn in a parallel world, Lu Heng sells off the inheritance his parents left him so he can continue the research he never finished in his previous life. He plunges into the vast Hengduan Mountains and becomes a mountain wanderer, living in seclusion among the forests.

By chance, Director Hu, an expert in "viral online creature identification" known throughout Xia Kingdom for his wit and humor, comes to the Hengduan Mountains to film an educational hiking program.

Director Hu: "This scree slope is incredibly difficult to climb. One careless step and you could slide down more than ten meters... Why is there a climbing rope set up here by someone?!"

Lu Heng: "I put it up. So what?"

Director Hu: "The main reason we're hiking in the Hengduan Mountains this time is to look for a sample of an extremely rare variant of the yellow tower plant..."

Lu Heng: "I've got a whole patch growing. How much do you need?"

Director Hu: "This little snow wolf looks like it's been separated from its mother. It won't survive long like this. Why don't we take it to the Xining Wildlife Park..."

Lu Heng: "??? Is it possible that I raised it?"

Why are you trying to snatch things from me halfway through the trip?!
