Showbiz: It’s Not That I’m Unpatriotic, I’m Just Sick of It

Transmigrating to a parallel world, he discovers that every movie here is a patriotic propaganda film.

People are already tired of them, but there seems to be nothing they can do.

"Movies shouldn't blindly follow trends. There should be room for all kinds of stories."

With his company having just enough money to make one film,

Su Yang gives up on making a patriotic film and throws everything into adapting Ghost Blows Out the Light.

Then, faced with obstacles from cinemas, Su Yang decides to release it online instead.

"The online ticket price is only ten yuan. Besides, who would pay to watch a movie online?"

The makers of patriotic films released in theaters at the same time all mock him!

Until... Ghost Blows Out the Light starts charging viewers, and its profits leave them all in the dust!

"It's not that we don't love our country. We've just seen too many of these movies, and we're sick of them!"

At that moment, the whole internet erupts. And only then does the world understand!

Su Yang was never just making movies. He intends to set the film industry straight!

"Stories don't have to preach. Comedies don't need sad endings. Give people more choices. That's all!"
