This Is a Charity Livestream. You Don't Know What Real Hardship Is

Philanthropist Chen Fei woke up one morning to find himself being cursed at as the top trending topic.

The ridiculous part was...

People were chasing after him with abuse because the supplies he'd donated to children in the mountains weren't foreign brands or the "good brands" everyone admired!

"If you're going to do charity, do it properly. Who are you trying to fool with all that cheap stuff?"

"Tsk. You really don't care unless they're your own kids. I'd never let my own children use those lousy domestic products."

The internet was full of insults and personal attacks. Some people with ulterior motives even went to Chen Fei's foundation and threw rotten eggs at its entrance.

Chen Fei: "You just make things up as you go. What do you know about the hardships of ordinary people?"

Only after a series of charity livestreams did netizens understand Chen Fei's good intentions.

What children in the mountains needed was a level road that made it easier to get to school.

Left-behind children needed enough good-quality stationery, not branded stationery.

Elderly people living alone needed houses that didn't leak, warm clothes, and enough food to eat...
