You Were Supposed to Play Bot Lane, So Why Are You a Couple in Esports?

In the S7 Spring Split, IG underwent a major roster shake-up. It was no surprise that TheShy and Ning would be in the top and jungle positions, but no one could have imagined what came next.

IG had actually brought in Chen Ye, the top-ranked solo-queue ADC on the Korean server, and the female support Ma Yumi. The whole internet was stunned.

It was one thing for the pair to be unbeatable in-game and in competition, but they were also constantly flaunting their love and shoving their romance in everyone's faces.

Uzi: "I don't know why, but playing against IG's bot lane always gets me worked up."

Faker: "Single players take hits in competition that they shouldn't have to endure."

Seeing them like this, the netizens were breaking down too.

"Not only does he have a beautiful girlfriend, she's also a support who went to Worlds with him and won the championship. Oh, heavens!"

"Dude, you seem to have forgotten one thing. Ma Yumi is mixed-race, 170 cm tall, cute and funny, and she can cosplay, too."

When IG stood on the championship podium, Chen Ye turned to the cameras and gave Ma Yumi a world-class kiss.

Viewers all over the world were devastated!
