I Am the Ancestor of the Great Sui Emperor

After transmigrating, Yang Changjing founded the Great Sui and became its Great Ancestor.

After his death, he absorbed the incense offerings of the mortal world and became an immortal.

That year, after his failed eastern campaign against Goguryeo and under pressure from the great clans, Yang Guang went to the Imperial Ancestral Temple to pay tribute to his ancestors.

To his surprise, his imperial grandfather Yang Changjing manifested and angrily scolded him for his mistakes. Even as emperor, Yang Guang could only take it.

Yuwen Huaji: I lost this coup utterly. Who has been advising the emperor behind the scenes?

Li Shimin: What sort of extraordinary figure stole Guanyin Bi away, prevented the rise of the Li Tang, and seized the realm?

Yuan Tiangang: How strange, how strange. The Sui dynasty should have fallen, yet its fortunes have come back from the dead.
