The Great Feng's Thousand Mechanisms

I want to write a novel with a tense, twisting plot and a witty, humorous style, with a touch of brain-teasing suspense that still feels light and effortless.

The setting is an age after the chaos, when a new dynasty has been established and everything is being renewed, yet danger lurks everywhere.

It's a world made up of cultivation, martial arts, witchcraft and poison, the Mohist school, Buddhism, demons, and ordinary people.

Black isn't necessarily black, and white isn't necessarily white. The truth of this world lies in the many shades of gray.

Good stories are born from twists and turns, from waves rising and falling, and this story is no exception.

The male lead is drawn against his will into one earth-shattering conspiracy after another. How he escapes danger is one of the story's highlights.

Through a series of coincidences, beautiful women with different personalities and backgrounds appear around the male lead. That's another highlight.

He begins helplessly swept along by the tides of fate, then learns to take life in stride and shape his own destiny. That's yet another highlight.

I hope you enjoy this novel.

This novel and its characters are entirely fictional. Any resemblance is purely coincidental. Do not imitate.
