I Protected Tang Sanzang on His Journey to the West

While exploring Flower-Fruit Mountain, Zeng Xiaofan loses his footing, tumbles off a cliff, and transmigrates to the world of Journey to the West.

He receives a mission from the System to protect Tang Sanzang on his pilgrimage. If he fails, the System will erase him. But he discovers that the Journey to the West here is completely different from the story he knew in his own world. Beneath the surface, all kinds of factions are plotting against one another. What looks like four master and disciples making a pilgrimage is actually a struggle between various forces. Zeng Xiaofan's mission is to secretly protect the four of them on their journey, following the Journey to the West as he knows it. Strange events occur along the way as Zeng Xiaofan matches wits with Heaven, the Buddhists, and the demons.

What earth-shattering secret lies behind the four traveling to obtain the scriptures? The truth is shrouded in layer upon layer of mystery.
