Great Han: From Champion Marquis to Emperor for the Ages

In the second year of Jianyuan, Emperor Wu of Han, newly enthroned, sets out for Bashang to offer sacrifices to his ancestors. On his way back to the palace, he stays temporarily at Princess Pingyang's residence. Princess Pingyang presents the singer Wei Zifu to Emperor Wu, Liu Che.

That night, however, Wei Zifu gets her period, so her twin sister Wei Pingjun takes her place and attends to Emperor Wu.

A month later, Wei Pingjun vanishes without a trace, while Wei Zifu is sent into the imperial palace.

Fourteen years later, Wei Yi transmigrates to the Han Dynasty and becomes a villager who is conscripted into the army.

After the campaign against the Xiongnu, Wei Yi's great service earns him the title of Champion Marquis of the Han Dynasty!

From then on, the Han army's god of war, Wei Qing, keeps asking him strange questions: Is your mother well? Who is your father? Does anyone else live with your family?

Wei Yi: General, why are you asking me all this?

Wei Qing: Because I'm your uncle. Who is your father? Why did he abandon you? I'll kill him!

Until one day, Emperor Wu of Han, Liu Che, asks Wei Qing in a booming voice: "You wretch, I hear you want to kill me?"
