Great Ming: My Dad Transmigrated Too, and Became the Emperor

Li Xiao transmigrates to the Ming Dynasty.

It is the twenty-sixth year of Hongwu, and the emperor is still Zhu Yuanzhang.

Li Xiao becomes the owner of a bookstore. To make ends meet, he dusts off his old trade from his previous life and draws comics, since writing novels isn't his strong suit!

Who knew the comics would become an instant hit, even reaching the imperial capital? Word is, even the emperor loves them!

A few days later, Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang summons Li Xiao to the capital.

Zhu Yuanzhang pulls Li Xiao into a small secret room and gets straight to the point:

"You're a transmigrator too?"

Li Xiao is stunned. Seeing his comics sitting to one side, he has no choice but to nod and admit it.

Zhu Yuanzhang then begins interrogating him, getting more and more detailed, nearly prying loose Li Xiao's birth date and the names of all his ancestors.

But as he questions him, Zhu Yuanzhang suddenly gets excited and wraps Li Xiao in a tight embrace:

"Son, I'm your dad! I transmigrated here too!"
