After Suppressing Evil for a Hundred Years, Has My Taoist Temple Turned into a Buddhist Temple?

Lu Youwei transmigrates to the Republican era and becomes a young Daoist at Qingyun Temple.

The land is engulfed in war, and foreign invaders have crossed its borders. To defend their homeland, people are ready to face death without fear.

But the real threat lies in the countless evil spirits hidden in the netherworld. Taking advantage of the chaos of war, they devour humans without restraint.

To slay demons and exorcise evil, Lu Youwei follows the temple's master and the others down the mountain, swords on their backs. They guard the world for a hundred years, ushering in a prosperous age free of monsters and spirits.

But a century later,

when Lu Youwei returns to his homeland, he is stunned to find that Qingyun Temple has become a Buddhist monastery!

What enrages him even more is that he loses the lawsuit because the Buddhist sect is wealthy and has many followers, and can boost the economy!

They casually assign him a worthless patch of mountain land and tell him to figure out how to rebuild the temple himself.

Before long, the seal shatters, and the land is once again engulfed by the terrifying return of supernatural forces. Countless evil spirits run rampant, and people come to ask him for help once more.

In response,

Lu Youwei sneers: I'm just a decrepit old man. Go ask those damn bald monks!
