Late Han

Were the Yellow Turbans the first peasant revolutionary army? They were all Han people, so why would they make things difficult for their own people? Then how do you explain the heaps of corpses outside Luoyang? Emperor Ling was incompetent, and eunuchs ruled the court. If you want an explanation, you might as well say he was knocked senseless by a giant python. The Eight Guards of the Western Garden, Huangfu Song, Lu Zhi, and Zhu Jun carried the Han dynasty on their shoulders, a dynasty that would be admired for thousands of years to come. They bore the last remnants of its integrity as well. "Protect the Han! No, what I love is this land!" This was a cry from a thousand years in the future. If a house has been eaten away by vermin until nothing remains but rot, the best thing to do is tear it down and rebuild! Let the world see one last glimmer of light!
