Age of Discovery: I Was Supposed to Reincarnate as a Demon, but Became a Devil Fruit

Mo De transmigrates into the world of One Piece, only to be reborn as a Devil Fruit: the Rubber Nika Fruit.

Every Devil Fruit has a soul, and even after it's eaten, that soul remains.

Why could Buggy become an Emperor of the Sea? Why was Crocodile so powerful later on? How could Marco take on an Emperor? Why did Luffy keep getting power-ups all the way to becoming an Emperor? It was all thanks to Mo De.

Crocodile: Is my Sand-Sand Fruit really that useless?

Kizaru: Why can't my Yasakani Sacred Jewel hit him?

Enel: Why isn't my Raigo working?

Kaido: How did I end up getting beaten so badly?

Mo De helps Luffy grow all the way to Laugh Tale, but really, he's trying to achieve his own goal. So what is Mo De's goal?
