Siheyuan: An Ordinary Life, Starting as a Kitchen Helper

After transmigrating into the Courtyard, Wang Anbang becomes an ordinary assistant cook at the steel mill.

His ordinary life begins when he awakens the Gourmet System.

From then on, he cooks and goes to work, making all the beasts of the Courtyard, young and old, drool with envy.

He sips chicken soup and watches the beasts put on their grand show.

What? Jia Zhangshi, are you so envious you can't even curse anymore?

Come on, keep going! Otherwise, all this chicken soup will have gone to waste.

What? Banggeng, you want some chicken soup?

Sure! Oh, sorry, I just finished the last drop.

Yi Zhonghai: "Wang Anbang is a better cook than Silly Zhu. I regret it now. If only I'd known, I would've had him look after me in my old age."

Liu Haizhong: "Wow, this is delicious. If I ever become a leader, I'm making that kid my cook!"

Yan Bugui: "With the smell of delicious food filling the whole courtyard every day, how can anyone stand it? No, I need to get on that kid's good side."

Being a cook isn't bad. Ordinary life should be just like this: when there's nothing to do, go tease the beasts.
