You Told Me to Catch Pickpockets, So Why Did I Fill the Detention Room?

Zhang Wen was a criminal police brigade captain, a veteran detective in his sixties.

He had arrested countless criminals over the course of his life. Decades of experience had made him a master of every trick in a detective's book.

But on the very day he retired, Zhang Wen transmigrated to a parallel world and became an ordinary police academy graduate. With mediocre grades across the board, he was assigned to a local police station to work in the anti-pickpocketing unit.

His superior told him to report to the pickpocketing squad. Instead, he caught the biggest theft ring in the city.

His superior threw him a celebration banquet. He casually caught two drug dealers next door.

His superior took him along on an operation. A raid on an illegal brothel led him to a serial killer.

His superior said, "A-Wen, our undercover agent sent word. An A-class fugitive will show up tonight. This is our best chance to arrest him."

Zhang Wen said, "An A-class fugitive? Is it that guy? I ran into him at a breakfast stall. He's a real tough guy. He puts sugar in his tofu pudding."

The big shots in the police force were dumbfounded.

The criminals were at their wits' end: "Zhang Wen! You damn cheater!"
