Siheyuan: I Fake an Illness and Slack Off, While the Neighbors Take Care of Me

When Yang Mufeng woke up, he found himself in a courtyard house.

It was the most unusual of times, so Yang Mufeng didn't dare act recklessly.

Instead, he decided to fake an illness and slack off to deal with the scoundrels in the courtyard.

He faked being sick and dangled promises before them, easily keeping the lot of them in line.

Yang Mufeng said, "I don't have long to live, so I should get my affairs in order. Everyone in this courtyard, without exception: whoever treats me well gets all three of my houses."

To inherit Yang Mufeng's property, the scoundrels in the courtyard began scheming against one another.

Meanwhile, Yang Mufeng spent his days playing with bugs and birds, enjoying a carefree life of doing nothing.

After all, the people in the courtyard were supporting him. What was there to worry about?

"Third Grandpa, give me these two pots of clivia."

"Second Grandpa, your braised pork knuckle isn't very good. Do better next time."

"First Grandpa, I want to buy a bicycle."
