Genshin Impact: Starting by Refusing to Become the Grand Sage

Darling transmigrates to Teyvat and awakens a Knowledge Dissemination System.

As long as he spreads knowledge, he earns rewards.

Where is knowledge most highly valued?

Of course, in Sumeru!

A dozen or so papers from Blue Star

shock the Akademiya.

Darling's name spreads throughout Sumeru,

and he is even hailed as the most outstanding genius since the Akademiya was founded.

Just as he is about to be nominated as a candidate for Grand Sage,

he falls out with the Akademiya's leadership after supporting the Little Lord Kusanali, and ultimately leaves the Akademiya in a fury.

Ningguang: I heard Mr. Darling left the Akademiya. Keqing, go to Sumeru and make sure you bring him to Liyue.

Jean: Eula, Amber, go find Dori. She's a friend of Alice's. As long as the Mora is right, she'll help us convince Mr. Darling.

Ei: Miko, come with me. We're going to Sumeru ourselves.

The Fatui: The Knave is dead, so there's an open spot among the Harbingers. I wonder if Mr. Darling would be interested?
