Great Ming: There's No Future in Being Emperor, So Let's Become a Monk!

In the first year of Hongwu, Crown Prince Zhu Biao converts to Buddhism in a bid to extend his life, changing the course of the Ming Dynasty.

On Mount Wutai in Taiyuan, Shanxi, tens of thousands of monks are armed and ready for battle, like divine troops descending from heaven. This place is our Great Ming's Guangji Temple.

Years later, Jianwen ascends the throne, and a host of imperial uncles watch him like hawks, refusing to accept him.

"The kid's only seven! How can we treat him as our lord? Where are we supposed to put our faces, as his uncles?"

Fang Xiaoru: "Your Majesty, abolish the fiefs! If you don't, your uncles really will rebel!"

Prince of Yan Zhu Di: "Exactly! Just say we're plotting treason and abolish our fiefs. Then I can invoke Heaven's mandate to put down the rebellion and smack Jianwen's little butt!"

Crown Prince Zhu Biao: "Your father has already mastered Great Ming's number-one divine weapon. My son Jianwen, don't panic!"

Zhu Yunwen: "Father, it's good that you're back. You can sit on the throne for now. I'm in no hurry!"

Emperor Xiaokang Zhu Biao: "The day Great Ming unifies the world is just around the corner!"

Common people: "With Zhu Biao on the throne, we won't need visas to travel abroad anymore. We support him!"
