Voyage: Do You Know Your Capture Level?

Matthew, base commander of the G-5 branch, earned the nickname “The One Who Doesn’t Catch.” Yet many pirates would rather be captured than be let go after Matthew gets his hands on them.

It’s all thanks to Matthew’s Gourmet System.

As long as Matthew touches someone, he can turn their body into an ingredient from the Gourmet World, where it slowly ripens inside them.

By defeating different people, he can obtain the gourmet ingredients that ripen within their bodies.

“Ding! Defeated Luffy. Obtained Capture Level 10: Sweet Whole Fruit.”

“Ding! Defeated Aokiji. Obtained Capture Level 100: Hundred-Fruit Ice.”

“Ding! Defeated Big Mom. Obtained Capture Level 97: Soap Bubble Fruit!”

Garp: “Sigh, Sengoku, hurry up and transfer Matthew to headquarters. I’m getting hungry. Oh, and Kuzan, make me some more ice. I’m having shaved ice this time. Make sure I get every flavor you’ve got.”

Big Mom: “Matthew, do you think Kaido would taste even better? I’ll go get him for you.”
