Rule Horror: Me, Zhang San, Get It?

Includes many personal headcanons. Not a typical rules-based horror story.

When the supernatural descends, Lu Yun is chosen to represent China and thrust into a world of eerie anomalies.

With a series of outrageous maneuvers, Lu Yun gradually uncovers the truth about this world of strange tales, as well as the relationship between "them" and "it."

Then he suddenly realizes that everything had left traces long ago.

So who is he, Lu Yun?

Strange Tale One:

Lu Yun looks at the somewhat terrified man before him.

In the skin of an eight-year-old boy, he glances at the knife in the man's arm and smiles obediently.

"Mister, if I say I didn't do it on purpose, would you believe me?"

"I was just so scared that I accidentally lost my grip on the knife, and accidentally failed to control its direction. You were standing so close, so that's how this accident happened."

He smiles with the utmost false sweetness.

"Mister, I really didn't do it on purpose. You wouldn't get mad at a child, would you?"

The neighbor stares at the innocent expression on the face of the 'small' child across from him, and at the bloodied knife embedded in his abdomen. He falls silent.
