Great Ming: You Asked Me to Simulate a Prince, So Why Did I Draw Myself?

Yang Mo, a forensic sketch artist, transmigrated to the Ming Dynasty and became a member of the Embroidered Uniform Guard.

With his extraordinary drawing skills and cutting-edge modern criminal-investigation theories, he solved numerous cold cases.

From junior officer to banner commander to deputy thousand-household commander... all the way to commander, Yang Mo climbed every rung of the Embroidered Uniform Guard.

As a result, his reputation as a master artist and brilliant detective spread throughout the Ming Dynasty.

One day, Zhu Di summoned him to the palace, showed him a portrait of his youngest son, who had been missing for twenty years, and ordered him to draw what the prince would look like now.

When the portrait was finished, Zhu Di was shaken.

"I ordered you to draw the prince. Why did you draw yourself?"

The next day, Zhu Di made an announcement to the whole realm, shocking the entire court.

When Yang Mo entered the hall wearing an embroidered python robe and carrying a saber, taking his place before the assembled officials,

Zhu Di said, numb with disbelief: "A crown prince who solved a case and discovered he was a prince himself. You're the first."
