Showbiz: My Fans Aren't Dead, They're Just Old

Chinese Pop Music Awards.

Qin Huai, who had left the entertainment industry ten years ago, was invited by the organizers to step back into the public eye.

Young fans today had long since forgotten who Qin Huai was.

That day, Cai Xukun won the Chinese-language Golden Melody Award with "Wait Wait Wait," a song that didn't contain a single Chinese lyric!

Qin Huai's expression darkened on the spot!

Back when Korean and Japanese pop music swept into China, he proved through his talent that Chinese pop music was the best!

Now the music and film industries had been taken over by these damn freaks and monsters. It was practically a slap in the face!

Ten years away, and now he's setting sail once more!

With one "Compendium of Materia Medica," he'll show them what national spirit really means!

With one "Rice Fragrance," he'll show them that songs can also heal the wounds left by disasters!

And with one "The Greatest Work," he'll turn the Chinese music scene back ten years, to its golden age!

Only then did people finally realize: his fans hadn't died, they'd just gotten older!
