Hong Kong Films: They Denied Me Credit for Solving Cases? I'll Flip the Table!

Lin Dong transmigrates and becomes a police officer in the Criminal Intelligence Bureau, or CIB.

His colleagues are the trio from Overheard: Leung, Yeung, and Lam.

The CIB is in a very weak position:

“Our CIB only assists other departments with cases, and we get little credit.”

“Our nickname is the nameless heroes, the errand boys!”

Lin Dong is immediately outraged:

Why should other departments get the credit?

Why should we only be nameless heroes?

From now on, we'll solve the cases ourselves and claim the credit ourselves!

And so,

Lin Dong starts solving cases one after another: Tam Shing's counterfeit money case, Chu Tao's ... case, Lam Kwun's drug case...

The other police departments are furious: “What does your CIB think it is, stealing our cases?”

Lin Dong: “You ask what the CIB is? Listen carefully. In one sentence: The cases you can solve, I'll solve. The cases you can't solve, I'll solve those too. I'll take all the credit... That's the CIB!”

The first case begins with A Better Tomorrow and shocks the entire police force!
