A Million Years into Sainthood on Flower-Fruit Mountain

Reborn in the Primordial World as a demon monkey on Flower-Fruit Mountain, Su Zi'an gained the Hunyuan Daluo Jinxian realm from the start. As long as he kept his strength hidden, he would receive a reward every year.

"Ding! You went a whole year without revealing your Sage-level strength. Reward: God Statue Suppressing Prison Strength!"

"Ding! Another year without revealing your strength. Reward: the title of Sage Mentor!"

"Ding... Reward: the Heaven-Covering Technique!"

"Ding... Reward: the Twelve Divine Banners of the Capital Heaven!"

"Ding... Reward: the Zhou Tian Star Battle Array!"

Even if they beat Su Zi'an to death, he would never reveal that he had attained the Hunyuan realm a million years ago.

But then the Journey to the West began. The Stone-born Spiritual Monkey moved into the Water-Curtain Cave on Flower-Fruit Mountain, and the immortals and Buddhas throughout the heavens wanted Sun Wukong to go abroad and seek a master. So the Underworld sent the Ox-Head and Horse-Face to claim the souls of a few old monkeys, hoping to make Sun Wukong fear aging, sickness, and death, and seek the path to immortality.

Su Zi'an stared in bewilderment as the Ox-Head and Horse-Face entered his cave.

"Well, would you look at that. You came to claim the soul of a Sage? Killing a monkey to scare the monkeys?"
