Tomorrow's War: Hope

More than a thousand years ago, the home planet of the old humans, Blue Star, was devastated by overpopulation and the resulting shortage of resources. Countries began fighting over what remained, even resorting to nuclear weapons. In the end, the planet, already 4.6 billion years old, was destroyed.

The only humans who survived were those aboard space stations far out in space. They formed the Human Alliance and, to ensure the continuation of human civilization, found a planet much like Blue Star: Kepler.

They planned to build a new world there, but discovered that its temperatures fluctuated too wildly and its environment was too harsh for humans to live in.

To ensure the continuation of human civilization, they spent over a decade researching human genetic engineering. In the end, they succeeded.

These genetically modified people had extraordinary physical abilities and adaptability, and learned quickly. They were practically perfect. However, they had emotional deficiencies: cold by nature, they did not believe in love, friendship, or family bonds. These people later came to be known as the New Humans!
