There is one thing that has been with me for decades in my life - trees. There are nine trees planted in front of my house, and each tree has a different fate and story with me. When I was eight years old, my father planted a willow branch in the open space in front of the door... The old man suppressed his trembling hands and unscrewed the cap of the thermos bottle. After pulling out the cork, he seemed to have exhausted all his strength. He had to sit down for a while and then stood up to pour water into the old porcelain basin.
