Great Ming: I Signed In for the White Horse Volunteers, Then Made a Run for It

A homebody from Blue Star transmigrates to a parallel world in the fifteenth year of the Chongzhen reign, at the end of the Ming dynasty, and becomes Zhu Cilang, Chongzhen's beloved son.

With just over a year left before the end of the Ming dynasty, Zhu Cilang is in a hurry.

Fortunately, the sign-in System rewards him with the White-Robed Cavalry and the guardian Dian Wei.

"Father, last night I dreamed that an old man in a dragon robe came to me. He said he was our ancestor, the Hongwu Emperor!

He said our Great Ming dynasty has only two years left! In the seventeenth year of Chongzhen, the capital will fall, and you'll hang yourself on Coal Hill!"

Chongzhen's trembling hand points at his rebellious son. "You insolent liar! Guards, get him... get him out of here and execute him!"

"Since you won't believe me, I'll just have to take special measures!" Zhu Cilang smiles faintly.

A translucent talisman appears in his hand, and he gently pinches it.

"Off you go!"

The teleportation talisman activates.

Zhu Cilang takes Chongzhen to witness the major events of the future.

Beneath the crooked tree on Coal Hill; sand and stones flying at Shanhai Pass; the ten days of slaughter in prosperous Yangzhou, south of the Yangtze...

"Son, what are you trying to do?"

"Father, your son is going to run away, I mean, reform the Ming dynasty!"
