Fresh Out of Prison, I'm Held Hostage by a Rookie Robber

Qin Yan, a police officer about to graduate, accidentally transmigrated to a parallel world and became a ruthless bandit awaiting execution.

Before his execution, however, the police approached him with a deal: they wanted him to become their informant.

Qin Yan readily agreed. He had wanted to uphold justice and punish evil as a police officer anyway, even if he would now be doing it under a different identity.

But as soon as he got to the bank to withdraw money, he was taken hostage by a rookie robber.

That was when he awakened the God-Tier Mission System.

To complete his mission, Qin Yan had no choice but to return to his old ways. Faced with the small-time crook holding him hostage, he turned the tables and took the robber hostage instead.

The bank manager, being held captive: Why do I feel like he's more of a robber?

The hostages: We ran into a robber, and the robber ran into a bandit?

The robber: Damn, I should've checked my horoscope before leaving home!

The underlings arriving on the scene: Boss is still the same old boss!

Though criminals ran rampant in this world, the police were not very powerful.

But Qin Yan stood firm: Evil will never triumph over good!
