The Adventure of the God Lord

"Ding! Ring! Ring!..."

A whole class of elementary school students swarmed out of the school gate like bees fleeing their hive.

Ling Xiao was an elementary school student who had just been dismissed. Clearly, after a full day of classes, he was exhausted.

"Ling Xiao! Where are you going after school?"

His classmate, who usually walked home with him, wondered why Ling Xiao wasn't heading home with him today.

Ling Xiao waved without turning around and kept walking.

Seeing that Ling Xiao was ignoring him, his classmate snorted and ran off.

The setting sun's afterglow blanketed the hillside, and fallen leaves danced in the air. Ling Xiao turned past a blind spot, slipped into a cave, and climbed down into a tunnel. The passage grew narrower and narrower, but once he squeezed through to the innermost part, it suddenly opened into a spacious cavern.
