My Little Ming Dynasty Farmstead

On a scorching summer day, with a little umbrella set up by the riverside, fishing and sipping wine, what could be better?

"Sir, His Majesty requests that you enter government service and take up the post of Governor of Jiangnan. Are you still refusing?" asked the petty official beside him, carrying a bucket of fish.

"Let whoever wants to go take the job. How could life at court compare to my little manor? I wouldn't go even if the princess married me!"

Chu Jie took a long swig and said fiercely.

"Enough talk. Get me another bottle of Moutai, or I'll have your farm confiscated!" shouted Zhu Di from nearby, holding up his empty wine cup.

Chu Jie laughed and glanced at his phone. It was time to restock again!
