Showbiz: You Won't Eat My Cooking, Yet You Want to Release a Song?

Chu Chen once ruled the music scene.

Then he became hopelessly obsessed with cooking and gradually faded into obscurity.

But a strange trend took hold in the music world: singers performed only in English, never in Chinese.

Chu Chen advised them to change course, but no one listened.

So he released hit after hit, dominating the charts for three months straight.

Entertainment companies fell one after another and came to negotiate with Chu Chen.

Before releasing an English song, they had to seek his approval

and eat a meal cooked by Chu Chen.

Then came another ten years of silence, and no one remembered Chu Chen's name.

Now a strange trend of pretty young male idols has taken hold,

with newcomers and entertainment companies challenging and testing him.

No one has eaten the dishes Chu Chen makes anymore.

Chu Chen is furious.

Do they really think I'm a pushover? I'm the one who sets the rules of the music scene!
