Ghost-Hunting Expert: Is It Really Too Much to Raise a Few Yaksha?

As an expert, there's nothing wrong with keeping a few fierce ghosts as pets, right?

Chen Xuanli transmigrates to a parallel world and joins the mysterious Thirteenth Bureau. He slays vengeful ghosts, exterminates evil spirits, subdues mountain sprites and wild monsters, and hunts down wicked cultivators. Whatever needs to be destroyed, he destroys. Whatever needs killing, he kills. No evildoer is spared!

Delivering souls is the Buddha's business. The Thirteenth Bureau's principle is to send them straight to the King of Hell!

Then, during the campaign to wipe out the demon lord at Mount Luofeng, the Thirteenth Bureau is nearly annihilated. Chen Xuanli can no longer keep his trump card hidden, and unleashes a procession of a hundred ghosts, staining the River of the Underworld red with blood!

Having narrowly escaped death, his good brother, the Blood-Handed Butcher, can't even manage a bitter smile.

"You've spent your whole life exorcising demons, yet you're the biggest demon of them all!"

"Horse-Face Rakshasas, Flying Yakshas, the Four Fiends of the Underworld, Wasp-Tailed Leopards, and two six-winged Asuras, right?"

"They're all overlords and ghostly heroes of the Underworld. How dare you defy the laws of Heaven and bring them into the human realm without permission?"

Chen Xuanli has no answer. Your humble servant is suffering too!

"Isn't it perfectly reasonable to capture them for research so I can know my enemy?"

The Blood-Handed Butcher's mind goes blank...
