Journey to the West: I Get Stronger Just by Slacking Off

Transmigrated into Journey to the West, Sun Wukong has just endured five hundred years of suffering beneath Five Elements Mountain.

Looking at his cultivation, which has fallen to the Taiyi realm, Sun Wukong thinks that obediently accompanying Tang Monk on his pilgrimage and eventually becoming the Victorious Fighting Buddha might not be so bad.

"Ding! Your Journey to the West Slacker System is now online. You can become stronger simply by slacking off."

From then on, the entire tone of Journey to the West changed.

"Senior Brother, Master has been captured by a monster."

"Oh."

"Senior Brother, why are you still standing here sunbathing? Hurry and rescue Master!"

"Bajie, you fool, go if you want. Old Sun is going to take a nap first."

They encounter the White Bone Spirit, disguised as an old woman.

White Bone Spirit: "Good sir, is my vegetarian meal not to your liking?"

Tang Monk clutches a bowl of vegetarian food transformed from bedbugs, desperately signaling to Wukong beside him: My disciple, there's a monster here. Hurry up and take her out!

Sun Wukong yawns and says, "Master, weren't you hungry? The old lady is being so hospitable. You can't very well refuse her, can you?"
