Hollywood's Best Actor: Starting with Léon: The Professional

Ye Chen refused to serve rich older women, so Hua Country blacklisted him. With no other choice, he left for North America.

To his surprise, he discovered that he lived in a world where the entertainment industry had exploded, with a century's worth of Western movie stars all emerging within just a few years.

At the time, Natalie Portman and Emma Watson were only beginning to blossom; Sophie Marceau and Anne Hathaway were just sixteen; Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe were barely adults.

In Leon: The Professional, he was Leon, the hitman who was cold on the outside but warm within.

In Forrest Gump, he was Forrest, living with a disability but possessing unbreakable resolve.

In 3 Idiots, he was Rancho, unconventional and different from everyone else.

In The Shawshank Redemption, he was the prisoner who could say, "Though the world has kissed me with pain, I answer with a song."

The Godfather, Interstellar, The Truman Show, The Three-Body Problem...

Stephen Chow: If I know how to act, it's because I picked up a few tricks from Ye.

Bruce Lee: Ye is my idol. Without him, I might have given up long ago.

Jackie Chan: Ye is a shining light for the Chinese people!
