Gem-Eyed Crystal

What the eyes behold, the eyes observe. Crystal-clear, transparent light leaves nothing behind. It adapts and bears its burden, carved into permanence; broken fragments fall away, then gather whole again.

Water flows, wind brushes past, earth remains beneath. Fire flickers, lightning flashes, light still covers all.

A clear, unsullied eye may be unfeeling, but telling what it sees is enough.

Strange tales, legends, epics: obsession, clichés, all easily forgotten.

What I see may not be real. But how many people can see reality? Those immersed in their own worlds have simply yet to find a friend who inhabits that same world. Smoothly accepting others only twists one's own world into theirs.

The real world has always been there, containing everything.
