I Passed Down the Dao De Jing from the Start, Drawing a Million Worshippers to Offer Incense

Xuan Qing transmigrates to a parallel world and becomes a Daoist incense deity.

In this world, Daoism has fallen into decline. Its incense offerings are no longer plentiful, and its scriptures, magical arts, and other teachings have all been lost.

As an incense deity, Xuan Qing will grow weak or even vanish forever if he loses the power of faith granted by the incense offerings.

Fortunately, he awakens the Faith System. As long as he keeps revitalizing Daoism, he can gain vast amounts of faith power.

Meanwhile, streamer Dai Mei happens upon the temple where Xuan Qing is worshipped.

She enters to pay her respects and, out of reverence, offers Xuan Qing a stick of incense.

Viewer: "Dai Mei, are you superstitious? You actually offered incense!"

As the viewers question her, Xuan Qing's statue suddenly begins to glow!

An ancient scripture floats before the statue. It is none other than the Dao De Jing!

"Holy crap, this can't be real, right? Is this an effect?"

"Please don't hold it against me, spirits. I just offended the gods!"

"Dai Mei, tell me where it is! I want to offer incense!"

In no time, a million people flock to the temple to offer incense to Xuan Qing...
