The Great Sword Immortal's Path to Becoming a Mage

With my body, I shall become the Gate of Heaven; with my sword, I shall sever the bonds of fate. From this day onward, there will be no more cultivators in the mortal world, and peace shall reign for ten thousand generations.

A great sword immortal, whose body perished and whose cultivation vanished, transmigrates to another world inhabited by swordsmen, sages, warlocks, assassins, and mages.

Why is his weapon a sword?

Can he use magic to alter its trajectory?

Can he cast spells instantly, with no cooldown?

Strike when they least expect it, catching them off guard! Be unpredictable, and leave them no chance to defend themselves!

Using his extraordinary mental power, he forcibly changes his good-for-nothing constitution into that of a mage. He foils conspiracies, quells internal strife, and establishes an alliance.

Thus begins an extraordinary path to becoming the strongest.
