Song Dynasty: I Am an Unofficial Son of Emperor Huizong

Zhao Zhen, courtesy name Hongyi and childhood nickname Duoduo, transmigrates to the late Northern Song dynasty and becomes the son of a tenant farmer. After a fight breaks out over castrating a pig, he and his two sworn brothers are imprisoned by Wei Wei, the illegitimate son of Cai Jing. To rescue them, Zhao Zhen turns to Shi Bin of Mount Shaohua, the very same Shi Jin from Water Margin. He goes bravely to their aid. While covering his brothers' escape, Zhao Zhen is captured, and Tong Guan, the old eunuch, wants him dead. His parents rush to save him and reveal that Zhao Zhen is a prince.

During the Jingkang Disaster, when the two emperors are taken north, Zhao Zhen receives an imperial edict and ascends the throne. He becomes Emperor Daizong of the Song, founding the Xin Song dynasty. The new dynasty works tirelessly to govern well and expand its borders, ushering in an age of unprecedented prosperity...
