Gomitsu, the protagonist, is an ordinary fresh graduate from a second-level university. He is a tokusatsu fan and a fan of the Heisei Three Heroes. He teaches himself Japanese. He is a Buddhist young man who is kind-hearted and has a sense of justice. He has an ordinary appearance and is often ridiculed by his peers as "there is no Ultraman in this world." Unable to bear the ridicule from people around him and the pressure from his parents, he ran away from home and came to Japan to work in a convenience store in Tokyo. Because he was summoned by Teliga, the Kingdom of Light, he broke through the dimension and came to the world where Tokusatsu characters really existed.
