I Just Ascended the Throne, and You're Telling Me This Is Journey to the West?

The first year of the Zhenguan era.

Li Chengqian, who had transmigrated here, successfully seized the throne and became the new ruler of the Tang Dynasty.

Just as Li Chengqian thought he stood at the pinnacle of the mortal world, that night, a dragon-headed man claiming to be the Dragon King of the Jing River appeared in Li Changan's dream.

The next day, when Li Chengqian's soul was dragged to the underworld, he faced the Ten Yama Kings. Amidst a radiant holy light, Li Chengqian used three thousand Confucian scholars to ** the entire underworld.

From then on, the mortal dynasties broke free of the control of immortals and Buddhas, and began developing in a direction that terrified them.
