Genshin Impact: The Strange Arrives, and I Am Mondstadt's Night Watchman

An Qi transmigrates to Teyvat and discovers that things here don't seem quite like they do in the game.

When the karmic grudges born from a god's death meet lingering souls, they form eerie entities that even the gods are powerless to deal with.

Wherever these eerie entities appear, bloodshed and suffering are sure to follow.

Across all of Teyvat, only a handful of Night Watchers can handle these incidents.

Hu Tao, Director of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor in Liyue, contains the three-star eerie entity Xiaojiujiu at Wuwang Hill and becomes a three-star Night Watcher.

Yae Miko of the Grand Narukami Shrine in Inazuma contains the four-star eerie entity Shrine Warrior on Yashiori Island and becomes a four-star Night Watcher.

Sumeru, Snezhnaya, Fontaine, and Natlan all have their own Night Watchers, guarding order through the darkness of their nations.

Mondstadt alone has gone eighteen whole years without a single Night Watcher appearing.

But today, Mondstadt, shrouded by a four-star eerie entity, will welcome a new Night Watcher: An Qi.
