Back to Field: After Guarding Er for Thirty Years, a National Hero Is Revealed

The new season of Mushroom House is underway, with filming set on a beautiful island.

Just after the show begins, the crew comes across villagers celebrating an old woman's hundredth birthday.

They learn that Grandma Li, the centenarian, has no one to care for her.

Her son suddenly abandoned his parents thirty years ago.

Everyone angrily curses him as an unfilial son!

But then a man appears, escorted by soldiers and carrying a black-and-white portrait.

The whole internet is moved to tears!

"He is the father of our country's nuclear submarines."

"He kept his identity secret for thirty years to protect our nation's seas."

"He devoted himself to what the country needed and rushed to meet its most urgent needs."

"He gave his life for his country, facing death as if it were a homecoming."

He gave China's vast maritime borders an "iron dragon" capable of defeating the enemy from a thousand miles away!

Salute to all the heroes who have kept their identities secret to help our country thrive!
