This book tells the story of an adventurer. Lectis is his current name, and it is also the name known to other characters in the book. At the same time, it is of course his pseudonym: the use of pseudonyms is an express rule in the Adventurer's Guild in the book, although it is very likely to evolve into a name that will accompany the adventurer throughout his life.
