Lia's Light

I wonder if you're asleep; I wonder, you're not asleep; I think of you, and can't sleep. You're still the first person I think of before I fall asleep and when I wake up, but I'll never again share the little details of my life with you.

I don't regret meeting you, and I regret loving you even less. Even if we can't be husband and wife, you're still the person I love most. Even if we can't be together, you're still the person I worry about most.

You are the most beautiful person I've ever met in this life, and the most painful longing I've ever known, etched deep in my bones, beyond any cure...
