You Asked Me to Be a Cook, but I Became a General

Tan He transmigrates to a parallel world and joins the military, fulfilling the military dream he had in his previous life!

Long-term malnutrition leaves him at the bottom of the new recruit assessment.

Watching his comrades on the awards podium, his eyes fill with envy.

Just then, he awakens a Merit and Award System!

Years later, people gaze at the rows of military medals on Tan He's chest and fall into deep thought...

"General Tan, I heard you used to be in the cooking squad. How did you make it this far?"

"General Tan, your Blue Force brigade has swept the country and has no equal. Is there anything you'd like to say to the Red Force?"

"General Tan, the information-based tanks you proposed have now been deployed throughout the armed forces. What do you think of that?"

Tan He smiles faintly.

"It all started when I joined my company and my recruit squad leader told me never to say he trained me."
