Debating the Past and Present: Crossing History to Clear Our Ancestors' Names

Ye Yuan transmigrates to a parallel world where the historical record is a mess and people despise the ancients.

He becomes the youngest champion of the Yangtai Huaxia Host Competition.

His superiors assign him to host a program criticizing the crimes of historical figures.

Ye Yuan refuses to associate himself with this era's history books and wants to turn the job down.

But he unexpectedly awakens the Dynasty System, which lets him travel to the past.

He decides to set the record straight for his ancestors by his own efforts and rewrite the history books.

At the Fengshan altar on Mount Tai,

Ying Zheng asks what posterity thinks of him.

Tens of thousands in the livestream chat shout, "He imposed harsh laws and suppressed the people's minds. He was a tyrant!"

Ye Yuan stands tall with his hands clasped in salute. "Millions of years later, after countless hardships, Huaxia remains one. The credit belongs to the First Emperor!"

Beneath Xuanwu Gate,

Shimin stands with his sword in hand. "If I insist on bringing this sword down, what then?"

The viewers reply, "That's your brother! You can't kill him!"

But Ye Yuan answers firmly, "There are no fathers or sons in the imperial house, no blood ties in the royal family! If killing one man brings peace to generations to come, it is a blessing for all the people!"

When the program airs, the whole internet erupts. Countless history books are finally set right.

This novel and its characters are entirely fictional. Any similarities are purely coincidental. Do not imitate.
